Oz title screen 'Oz' is an HBO television drama series created by Tom Fontana. The series aired for six seasons between July 12, 1997 and February 23, 2003 with a total of 56 episodes. Season 3 of 'Oz' finds its legs, offering a more confidently plot-driven narrative than its previous seasons. It is still a theatrical character study, but the story is tight and focused, blending seamlessly into season 4.
